So it says I can't use eBay but the account still has buying privileges. I think. I haven't bid on anything since it happened.
How can you be so sure? I don't care about the selling restriction. I just want to keep buying.
The "associated account" is suspended indefinitely, so I know that one's gone. I don't understand why they haven't already suspended the rest of my accounts yet. All the information isn't the same but there should be more than enough for them to connect them all.
Oh, and also, they sent me an email saying they'd make an exception to their usual rule and remove the selling restriction if I provided certain documents (proof of identity, supplier info. etc).
I am a casual seller and don't have suppliers, etc.
Meanwhile I've got other accounts that they definitely know about that haven't received anything and are still fully active.
I will since I have nothing to lose. The thing is that I don't need that account, I just need my other, as yet untouched accounts.
I'm just wondering what they're thinking and whether all my accounts will eventually be suspended indefinitely once their autobots make the connection (since me telling them hasn't done anything) or whether they have already decided not to do that.
I think I'll have to ring them and ask about the supplier information. They wouldn't require that for a person who only sells their own secondhand goods, would they?
