Default Requesting Higher Selling Limits Issue - Confirming Bank Acc in Paypal

Hi There,

Have an issue with raising my selling limit on a stealth acc. When I click the button to raise my limit I get the following:

Sign in to PayPal, or create a PayPal account if you don't already have one.
Enter your bank account information in PayPal if you haven't already.
Follow the steps provided to confirm your bank account.

By clicking Continue you agree to share your bank account information with PayPal.

I have used a name variation for my ebay acc, but my bank account is in my real name which can be linked to another account. The items I am selling on my stealth account are extremely low risk, items that I have had made myself infact. I already have this bank account added to my paypal and is verified. My question is, will my account be linked if I attempt to raise my selling limit with the above method, and if so, is there any other ways of raising my selling limit without getting linked? Currently I am only on a 10 item limit per month and have had the account for just over a month.

What is the problem? They gave you the procedure for raising limits, so why not follow it?

PayPal cannot see the name on your bank account so long as you don't request funds from the account ("upload"), so that is no problem. Do not worry about that. Just follow the steps and get your limits lifted

That's what I thought, and why I always keep funds in the account. Although since I have already added the bank account and verified my Paypal account, the words "you agree to share your bank account information with PayPal", when I have already added the account, put me off clicking the link to raise the limit..

I believe if you click the link it will simply confirm that your paypal account is bank verified. Keep me updated. Have you tried it?

Just ignore it and raise your limits. That statement is just an attempt to scare you into never entering a phake name. Just like when they tell you that they charge a fee if the name on the PayPal does not match your bank account, which is also bullsh*t since there is no way for them to check if the name is correct or not if you use one of the "good" (which is almost all of them) banks. lol

Hey,
What exactly happens when you click the link? What information do they ask for? This information will be very helpful to me as I know I will need to know this soon.
Thanks so much for any help you can provide.

Ashley

They just redirect you to PayPal, and assuming that you have already confirmed the deposits in PayPal, your limits will be raised immediately after logging in.
