Using account overseas

Hi folks,

I'm going away for 3 weeks to Hong Kong & Malaysia. I want to know if it is safe to use my stealth account on the go with me? My account is about 4 months old with 30 feedbacks for both buying and selling. Also PayPal verified.

From my experience it will be fine for a few weeks .. not longer though. You get a cross border warning which is just as bad as a suspension ..

I've never had a problem with this as long as the account was created "back at home". You will be fine using a local IP in those lcoations.

Account is Australian but you will go to HK and Malaysia...I can see a problem when you log in with the IP being flagged because of that sector of the world (no offense)

Why dont you do remote access of your computer to keep Australian IP?

I have, and I know many others have recieved cross border warnings after using accounts created "back home". Especially if you are registered "back home", but shipping from Asia.

cant you just setup a remote desktop and access it fro the original ip?

That happened to me, there is a simple way out, call PayPal and Ebay, inform them that you traveling to these countries, they will put notes on your account that you will access your account from these countries
