First time selling on eBay
 

Hi all,
Im new here. I am also new to selling on eBay. I have always been a buyer & have set up a new account to sell from. I am still doing research before listing anything. I have read some horror stories on here.
I've never been suspended.
I want to sell homewares (low to highest price items $4au - $250au) which all are new. I am looking for some advice before launching into this and potentially having my hard earned $$ held captive by pp (which I read occurs a lot).
I am in Australia (if that flag isnt working).

Since your buying account is already established on eBay (assuming it has feedback also) I would be using that account to sell and the newly created account to buy from.

Both accounts can have the same contact details etc since you have never been suspended and linked to your current pay pal..

I hear what you are saying using an established account, however I didnt want the potential buyers to see any of my purchase history.
Not suggesting that i buy odd things, but I have children and have bought a lot for them. Just trying to keep things as personal as possible and remain neutral.

A huge part feels that using this account is the way as it has 100% and over 100 feedback.

Start off selling slowly for the first 30 days, build up feedback and gradually increase your selling to minimise risk.
