Selling limits on eBay
 

Hi everyone

I have set up a few stealth accounts. I have 2 eBay accounts (under same contact details etc) linked to one pay pal account. Both accounts are well over 3 months old but with no selling history. One of my stealth accounts has a selling limit of 100 items per month placed on it (i sell using an eBay store 'Buy it now" format.

My question is can i use my other eBay account that I created to sell items via auction format?? will eBay suspend me for doing this??

I don't think it would be a good idea. I have a feeling most others who post after me will say not to as well. Especially since your contact details are the same and everything and it's just 1 PayPal.

eBay would see your 2 accounts as a way for you to get around selling limits and would likely do something about it (either limit you, or reduce selling limits on both)

The only thing you could do to be safe is create some more unlinked Stealth accounts (or buy them)

Is there any risk with selling using auction format with the other account??

I have had this same situation drphilly. 1 account selling with Buy it Now and another account selling Auction style...attached to 1 pp account.

It IS doable but remember this...you MAY get limits spread between the two...so in this case 100 COULD be separated into 50/50 OR WORSE :(

I am referring to another stealth account though with same details etc.

It is well established. One has over 500 feedback and the other has over 80 feedback. I don't have any selling limits on any of these.

why 1 paypal account may i ask? i dont feel good about it?

I read somewhere in the forum / stealth guide that two eBay accounts per pay pal is the safest option as its within eBay guidelines. I'm guessing one for selling and one account for buying.

Are the 2 accounts linked?

Always 1 for 1 for me.

Rsot, the accounts are linked - same info etc and same pay pal.

I used to use one for buy it now with a store and I have started using the other one for auction listings... I have no selling limits on either one though.
