Has anyone had any success as a seller with accepting payments with paymate only? I can't use Paypal on my account anymore so I applied and got approved with paymate. Have added it to all my listings. It's been 3 days and still no sale :tears:

While Paymate is an approved payment method, many buyers arent too familiar with it. I doubt that it would severely affect your listings...are your prices competitive enough? You can always keep PP up and when buyers cant pay with PP, you will have to convince them...yes it's tough but it's an option

People are brainwashed into only using PP on eBay most the time. Doesnt mean you will still not be able to sell, but you may want to build up a stealth that can use PP

I've had one listing where a buyer won an auction and she claims Paypal method is on the listing. Told her to bank transfer and she won't. Lost the sale. It is tough getting buyers to accept another method of payment.


Tell me about it. I recently got my hands on another account which I will build up and am going to create another one soon for back up =)
