Most annoying eCheques
 

Never happened until recently I've been getting customers paying me with eCheques of purchases under $10!

I kid you not! They take 3-5 days to clear.

One customer sent me x 2 eCheques as the first one didn't clear so it took twice as long to receive my $.

Most annoying. Trying to build feedback on new accounts and it drags on...

I have had echeques for $1 lol.. But I just post it before it clears

I get them pretty often these days. Just wait for it to clear and post the item. Keep the buyer informed as to why there was a delay.

After reading about some issues with eChecks, wait a couple of days AFTER the echeck is cleared before sending out your item. There are a few reports of echecks being cancelled even after pp shows them as cleared.

I wonder if PayPal pays for this if its a scam

Very much doubt it. It would at the very least require tracking, which I would not use on an item under £10

These are such pains to get.

On the one hand, the buyer can not cancel them. On the other, there is that time lag before fund clearance and sending off the item.

I send out a specific note explaining what happens. If the buyer does not accept, they get no item.
