Ridiculous Feedback

What are some buyers thinking?

I sold x 12 jelly cups for $1.99 (they were never used) and this is the feedback I get:

"Was not that great a quality sorry ... felt was way over charged for item".

What did she expect Tupperware quality for $1.99?

LOL! It was a positive feedback though I will need to check my DSR at the end of the month.

Re: Ridiculous Feedback

Unfortunately, its the system that eBay employs that promotes stupidity and empowers buyers to leave whatever comment and score they desire.

Hopefully, you get enough buyers that offset the few morons that do this. :smash:

Re: Ridiculous Feedback

eBay buyers expect the top quality for the very very lowest prices, comes as a shock when what they have bought for $0.99 is not made of solid gold.

All part of the game :)

No offense OP but...if you sell silly things, you might be asking for silly feedback hah.

Ok but seriously - buyer is a douchebag....though, for me, I would not be selling edible stuff...if buyer ever has health problems or whatever - stealth or not...they might be itching to come after you...just a thought

Re: Ridiculous Feedback

Then that is like your posts, rsot.

The items are the empty moulds that are used to make the jelly cups.

Clues were in the word TUPPERWARE and 'never used'. Food should correctly be described as never eaten.

Those in the know would have got the reference.

No offense but do be careful about saying no offense to others.

LOL

Some vintage Tupperware items bring a lot of money.

Rsot does not know there is a ton of Tupperware collectors and they even have a collectors club.

Beside those of us who actually use Tupperware for many things.

Re: Ridiculous Feedback

I actually bought them in K-Mart and decided I didn't need them anymore and thought I'd get rid of it quickly and priced it cheap for feedback on one of my newer accounts instead of donating to the local Op Shop.

There were about 7 people watching item until someone finally bought it. I have learnt my lesson never to price something so cheaply - if I'd priced it a bit higher maybe the moron would've thought it was of more value?

You can't please them all no matter what you do sometimes!

Re: Ridiculous Feedback

Buyer power on ebay is astonishing. I have had someone buy an item off me before and not pay for 8 business days after i messaged him twice. So i opened a case against the person and he decided straight away to leave me a negative feedback with a fairly nasty comment too. Even after talking to 3 different customer service representatives from ebay they still wouldn't remove the feedback.

I Read through all the buyer/seller data on ebay and you pretty much just have to suck up to the buyer regardless of the situation sometimes especially if the problems are on a stealth account.

Correct. Have to be very very kind to even the biggest idiots. Worth it to keep the account alive though.

With a friend like you, who needs enemies.

You misread a post and blame a pretty picture.

Nice one.
