Pay Pal closed but ebay account fine
 

Hi Guys,

My paypal account got closed with the following message
“We are hereby notifying you that, after a recent review of your account
activity, it has been determined that you are in violation of PayPal's
Acceptable Use Policy regarding your sales…”

It listed the name of the ebay account it was referring to and the transaction.

Now, I have 5 ebay accounts linked to that paypal account and none have been closed. Just paypal.
It’s been 12 months now since paypal was closed and still none of the ebay accounts have been shut down, but I’ve never used them since.

I know that the paypal account is closed and I wont touch the ebay account that paypal referred to (even that is has not be closed down)

But I want to use the other 4 accounts since they have good / high feedback.

Question is, would I be able to create a new paypal account (using the same IP as before) and linking the 4 up or will my paypal account be closed due to me using the same IP address?

Or would creating a new paypal on a different IP address and linking the 4 ebay accounts on the new IP address work?

Any suggestion would be appreciated.

If you link a new pay pal account to the eBay accounts, the pay pal account will more than likely get shut down at a later date as it will be linked to a previously suspended account.

Your ebay account linked to that paypal will most likely get shut down in a few days time. I've had the same exact message on 2 separate paypal accounts when they were shut down.

My ebay accounts linked to the 2 paypal accounts were still working fine 2-3 days after the paypal infringement but they eventually got limited too.

Hey Guys.

Just an update.
I went ahead and created a paypal account and linked it to those4 ebay accounts.
Everything is running fine for over 6 months now.
Back to reaping $$$ each week again. Happy days.
I think leaving them sit for a year may have helped.

Interesting, so,you made a new paypal back in November and sales have been fine till now?

The information used in ur paypal account does that all now mismatch your eBay accounts

Yep, created a new paypal account, different name and address to the ebay accounts.
No drama as yet.

but do you think paypal will not tracking it because it is same IP?

Thanks for this insight, I should make brand new paypal for eBay that had limited paypal in the past.
