Medicare card for Paypal ID verification
 

Hey guys,

My stealth paypal account balance recently reached $1000 and I got hit with the anti laundry limitation. They're now requesting IDs for verification.

One of the options is to forward my medicare details, should I disregard the medicare and just send in my passport alone?

Does paypal have access to a database where thay can match one's medicare details (eg: if I input another person's card number)?

How do I get creative regarding the medicare card details?

Any input would be highly appreciated.

Paypal state they use credit/ID confirmation company Veda (https://www.veda.com.au). Veda use a Federal government service to verify a persons ID which does confirm a person's Medicare number. You will find a link on the Veda site to the Federal Governments web site which lists what ID can be confirmed.

@salp... read the forum abit more. many knowledgeable au members have experimented on which ID to use and gave hints on their results. The hints are subtle and you will miss it if you aren't paying attention to what is posted. ;)

Thanks guys, have uploaded the requested IDs and fingers crossed the limitation will be lifted soon.
