Aus Post Load and Go question
 

I'm thinking of registering a standard L&G card online using my real address so I can receive the card through the mail.
The only problem is that my real street address is part of a banned Paypal acc.

Can PayPal see the address associated with a Load and go card or do I have the register the card using stealth details. But then how to I receive the card through the mail?

PayPal is not all powerful.

PayPal cannot see the address associated with the Load & Go Card. They cannot see any of the information associated with the Load & Go Card (including the name and phone number used to register the card). They cannot see ANYTHING apart from what you tell them.

PayPal doesn't even know that the bank details (BSB and Account Number) are linked to the Load & Go prepaid credit card.

Thanks for the reply. Also is it safe registering 3-4 Load and Go cards with my real details? Does Load and Go tolerate multiple accounts/cards registered by the safe user?

Yes, it is safe to register 3-4 Load and Go cards with your real details as far as eBay / PayPal is concerned.

Another option is to register the Load & Go cards using the same details that you used for your eBay / PayPal account.

As eBay and PayPal can only see the BSB, account number and credit card number you don't need to worry about eBay linking the account to your real details.

Load & Go does allow multiple cards using the same details, so far the most I have registered using the same details is 3.

Might I suggest that you only add (and verify) the cards / accounts to your PayPal account one at a time.

When asked to enter the bank name for the bank account, enter Heritage Bank (not Load & Go).

When asked to enter the account name, enter the same name as the PayPal account (not the actual account holder).

Alright thanks for the reply. I've just registered 3 cards under stealth names.
In terms of using the card as a bnak account do we just use the bsb number and account no. at the back for the card?

I have x 6 L&G accounts using stealth works fine for me so far.

@LilyPily - are all 6 L&G cards registered with the same details / phone number?

Correct, you just add a bank account using the BSB and Account number of the card, the name used for your eBay stealth account for the account name and Heritage Bank for the bank. This allows you to withdraw money from the card.

All x 6 L&G cards are registered in different names, addresses, telephone numbers that is because the cash withdrawal limit is now only $250 every 7 days (i.e. week). Whereas when you spend with your L&G card (after withdrawing it from PayPal) there is not maximum withdrawal/spend limit.

LilyPily, how do you get the PIN for each of the L&G Cards? Do you register new prepaid sims for each card or just call up? I was thinking of getting up a few pay as you go sim cards, however, they obviously would all be under my real name. Thanks.

From memory the L&G PIN is issued to you via a telephone number you call on the card. You can dial this number, punch in your L&G number and a PIN will be given to you via the phone. I have not made any new accounts this year so I am working and remembering what I done last year.

Do you use separate IP addresses to log into each account to check balances? or just one user account/IP Address?

I've logged into all L&go accounts from one browsers and ip and I've been fine.

I recently tried to purchase 2 L&G Cards from the PO but I was advised that there is a limit of only 1 card per customer.

Has anyone else experienced this before?

yep, seems to depend on PO. I thick that get the one for use in Aus with the International one which is a one only I was told.

I tried to get the L&G for use in Aus. but I was advised that there was a limit of 1 per customer. It may depend on the post office then.

Hi guys, I have a limited paypal account, and I haves the needed documents except a bank account statement, but i linked my load and go cards bsb and account number. and the online transaction history does not have my account number on it and paypal needs it to un-limit my account what can I do?

Hi, iam New to the world of stealth. So have a I understood correctly that we could have a load and go as a full replacement for a bank account on PayPal?

Load and go doesnt work as a bank account for paypal anymore as it is banned. You can use it as a credit card
