I am very new to this so please be patient. I have been trading on ebay.au for a couple of years and recently been hit with suspensions, cannot open accounts because of association, the list goes on. I have just read the ebay Stealth Book and found it very helpful. There are a couple of questions I need help with 1) Does having a shop with seller manager pro make you easier to track?
2) It seems that every time I get a new product, (some of these are not your run of the mill name brands) ebay slaps me with a vero violation.
I checked out this 'ownership' and according to google the ownership had been abandoned. Ebay of course would not listen, and that site has been banned for a year.
I would like to know how to become a VERO owner.

If you own the trademark or copyright on an item (or a brand name), you can submit an application to eBay to become the VERO member for that item.

I use Selling Manager Pro and I have not had any problems.

My guess is the problems you have stem from what you are selling. It sounds like you are finding unique items that others are not selling (or that few others are selling) which is usually a GOOD thing. But if the owner of the trademark or copyright does not want to allow you to sell their item, there isn't much you can do about it.

One thing you CAN do is to email the VERO member BEFORE you start selling and ask for their permission. Some members will give you permission as long as they believe your items are legitimate. Others, however, don't really want their items sold on eBay at all. It sucks that they have so much power, but that is just the way it is.
