Ebay buying your items?
 

Hi guys,

Had a interesting purchase yesterday.
Someone from ebay australia, level 23 1 york street, Sydney
Just bought an item from me.
His address is as above, so no hiding his ID

Found this curious and was wondering if anyone has had someone from ebay buy an item from you?

First i thought this was a scam, but on goggle search seems legit.
Now i'm just wondering if they are checking my item to see if it's 100%

Item i sold to him was a dvd set which i've been selling fine for the past 12 months. 1 negative feed back from 170 positives.

Would ebay do this to confirm authentication?

had the same issue but it said Paypal in the address . But I just marked it as shipped and returned it once requested. Not worth it to find out.

I haven't posted item as yet. But have marked it as posted today.

I was thinking of refunding his money after a week of holding off.

Dont do that, just send the item tracked.

ebay employees are permitted to purchase on ebay provided they state that fact.

Fairly common in OZ for staffers to purchase goods.

As Bunneh has said you DO NOT want to to be seen marking an item as despatched and then not sending it! What kind of image would that show you to be too other potential buyers and to eBay themselves, that could affect your dsr ratings and have all sorts of issues for you.
