Problems with Entropay
 

It's the third time this week i'm opening Paypal using entropay and it's the third time i'm instantly limited until I prove address. Never had this issue with L&G cards. Not sure if i'm doing something wrong or entropay is a bad idea for AU accounts.
Please share your experience with Entropay and other alternatives. :au:

5 times I got an instant documents requirement when trying to verify Paypal accounts.
Don't waste your time using entropay with AU Paypals, if you don't have documents, better don't try Entropay.

Might not be Entropay,maybe you account creation methods are fatally flawed. Other Aussie should chime in, Entro has worked for every country I have tried

It can't be my methods because i got many accounts, some of them were opened after I tried Entropay and they all active and it can't be bad luck because 5 is too much so it must be Entropay.

It seems you need a non-entropay card then. For european accs, works smoothly.

Check the BIN numbers, euro ones start with 4101

The problem is that Entropay is the most cost efficient card. The purpose of this thread is to make Aussies aware that Entropay is a waste of time or to explain me why I'm having a problem with this card.

Can't see any problems reported with Entro in previous threads from the quick look I had. I agree Entro is good,but I think the price of another VCC is peanuts when you think of the long term benefit.

I would need a shed load more of into to make any determination.

The making of 5 accounts within a short time frame may mean a slip in methods.

I am not going to back a blanket claim like this for this product.

One user does not a crisis make.

I made 8 accounts in the last 2 weeks(only 2 was on the same day), 5 of them had the instant document verification request, everything was the same except the Entropay.

If anyone can successfully use Entropay with AU Paypals after April 2015, please update this thread.

If you want to get back up to prove your claim, the onus is on you to provide facts.

We need to know what happened.

Being vague does not help.

Define proof of address .... that's one for you.

Asking for ID etc now, and only 5 or 10 cards max

They have an instant document verification request as soon as i add Entropay, i did everything exactly as i always do it and never had problems except with Entropay. If anyone can verify it works for him after April 2015 it will really help to end this thread.

Dont tell me the same as the last time. Define the addresses used in association with these notices.

I'm using houses under construction or places that i'm 99% sure don't use eBay.(i don't wanna share all my techniques).
I loaded 50$, sent around 10$ to each account.

Wait until another AUS user chimes in with the same issue before jumping to conclusions.

I don't use entro cards personally for confirmation though I have had instant limits when using address's that don't match APO records.

f using another VCC works for you, just forget about Entro. IT seems that AU does not like UK VCCs at all.

There are many kinds of gift cards but as far as i know the 7$ fee LG cards are the cheapest option.

Sometimes have to test out the options and blow a bit of cash in the meantime - I know I have done this up here in Canada :( part of the "investment" process.

Cards can be used for other things too...

Vendors on here sell accepted vcc's.

I purchase from 123

Haven't had any issues verifying using his and they are as cheap as local cc's

entro pay working fine for me UK. used 3 times yesterday all worked fine 3 for 3.

You say you are you addresses for houses under construction. If they are still under construction PayPal would not be able to verify the address with Australia Post hence document request I believe.

There are other alternatives readily available here in Australia and hassle free to buy. From the little I have read of entropy hardly seems worth the trouble to use.

Not sure how or why but my latest made especially for the OP paypals funded with Entropay have started life.

Of course i'm logging everything, I meant that maybe I somehow chose 5 times an address that already been used for eBay by someone, very low chance but still possible.
I opened 20+ successful accounts with LG cards during the last 8 month and never had issues. I opened 5 accounts with Entropay and all of them had an instant documents request, how can i do something wrong with Entropay if i'm using it same as I use L&G cards?
I'll give it a last chance tomorrow, wish me luck :/

Klemantina. This same thing happened to me over a year ago. I was using entropay for about 2 years and then bang. I tried everything. If I used any gift card it would work but not entropay. I posted a thread and I had an admin from here trying to figure what was going on but no luck. I stopped using entropay and started using load and go as a credit card verification.
Entropay was great and so much cheaper :(

I had the exact same problem! Don't use it :P The last time it happened to me, I called Paypal and they said it was the credit card that got me limited...

Tried again and got an instant proof of address request, what a waste of time and money.
It's probably because Paypal can see that Entropay located outside of Australia so they need a proof of address or it's just been abused by too many scammers, anyway, if somebody knows how to solve this problem for less than 10$ please let me know.

May I add that I did this to three different accounts in a row. All of them kept getting banned immediately afterwards. I just made sure with the PP rep over the phone. But without their clarification, I am almost 100% sure that it was the entropay card getting me banned.

Possibly only related to PP AU? I have been using it on PP.com and PP.ca - no issues - $5.00 loaded minimum
