Maybe we can get a list together of banks that allow mismatch names on incoming payments?

- Commbank: Not Allowed
- ANZ: Allowed


Anyone else want to add?

Commbank, Westpac, HSBC works great for me.
Did you try commbank or just asked an employee?

CBA works fine for me. I even asked an employee...and he said there's no issue with mismatch names. Eg...John smith transferring rent money into Paul Hogan's account.

That example is just a normal transfer? Obviously that's allowed.

Can confirm NAB bank also works for mismatch of names. Transfered funds from paypal to bank account with ease.

If I am in the US with a AU account and I access it under an AU vpn, is their anyway I can withdraw my funds to a US bank account? Or how would I go about doing this? Please let me know,

I think you can add a US bank account to an Aus PP account

Yes you can. You can add US banks to every single Paypal country.

Then it varies by country to country on what else you can do.

Jamaica you can only do US bank or cheque.

EU countries some are local bank accounts + withdraw to VCC or US bank.

Some only local bank.

Citibank is great, nice internet banking interface. They are happy to give you as many accounts you need too. Same with HSBC.

Commbank locked my account and I had to call them up after adding a new account using netbank.
Might use a different bank next time.
