So Whats the Best way to get a verification contact number at this time in Australia with out having to how personal ID.
Please only ways that will work in Australia in stealth form?

Alot of threads are stating voda worked but now the in store option is no longer

Not in Australia - each sim costs about £5 (getting it at that price would be a bargain). But in OPs case, purchasing them is the best way forward.

Previously we could buy a Telstra SIM at the supermarket without showing ID and this SIM was active in that it could receive texts and calls. This has now been changed and while getting the SIM is still the easy part they are sold in supermarkets but then it has to be activated, and to be activated you have to verify your ID. The phone company can check your ID against a government data base which also can confirm visa numbers. Many of use are now looking for an easy alternative.

Just curious, is there a problem in having the SIm in your name from a stealth perspective or more of a convenience thing ?

I know eBay can't get any SIm owner info unless they produce a court order

I wouldn't know about that, but I guess some folks would worry what the government would think about someone having ever so many SIM cards registered to their name and the tax man may get interested as well and then if someone was being naughty....
