Need to Obtain EIN Outside of U.S.
 

Hey guys,

I basically need to obtain EIN.. But I'm outside of the U.S. and I don't have SSN.

Although, I've read in several places online that it's still possible to get the EIN even in these conditions.

If someone (who lives in U.S.) would be willing to help me out with this (calling the IRS, etc.) - I would gladly pay some amount of $ for the help.

You can't obtain an EIN if you aren't a US Citizen, you can on the other hand try to get an ITIN.

Several places? right.

Well I've found a lot of answers online of people saying that you actually can. :)

Well if somebody would be able to help me to do it quicker (not waiting 4 business days after fax'ing the document forms) - I would gladly accept your help. : )

I read somewhere that if you just tell them that you don't have a fax machine they'll just fill it up over phone

If you obtained an EIN you did wrong and probably committed fraud.

A foreign national must obtain a ITIN to report income earned in the US.

There are no other options.

It is a lengthy and complicated process that takes as long as a year.
