Getting debit card in friend name
 

Hello Everyone

QUESTION?

I am going to use my friend name and address to set up my new Amazon account. As far as bank card,VCC and disbursement. Can i go to my bank, add him to my account get a bank card with his name on it. Send the new card to his address. Wait for the card to come though the mail so, in case i need to verify the new account?

Don't open accounts in someone else's name, info......it's just bad business practice.

No bank is just going to let you "add" someone without them being present and without valid identification.

Just a bad plan all around.

No No No i am not going to use someone information without their knowledge. This is a dear friend of mine that know what i am doing. I wanted to know is this a good way to get pass the VCC and disbursement when starting the new account. By adding him to my exiting bank account. Telling my bank to issue him a debit card with this name. Send it to his address?
These are the steps i have completed so far.
1. Using my friend to start the new account his phone number, his physical address and i created a new email.
NEXT IS THE BANKING stuff VCC and disbursement.:confused:
P.S. He will go to bank with me so i can add him to the account.

I got all that and what I'm trying to tell you is that it isn't good business practice to use someones information even if they are ok with it. But I will say this, in the end it's up to you and your friend to know how certain things are going to be handled such as taxes and so forth.

No need for all that, BJammin sells VCC's for Amazon.....

Same answer as above.

As far as banks go, you don't need him to go with you anywhere, you can use your own checking account to accept payments.

Listen to MM78 - i'm afraid that because you don't know what you're doing...your "dear friend" doesn't really know either hah

Please heed previous advise here; it's highly advisable you don't mix friends and business. You may regret it later on if (and when) something happens.

I know this from personal experience, it doesn't end well.
