Entropay question

Let’s say I use an entropay vcc to subscribe to a sevice that gives a free trial. After the free trial ends, i’ll have to pay xxxx£ amount which I do not have on my entropay vcc.
Now, my normal debit card was connected to top up the vcc.
If the services tries to charge me the xxxx£ amount will Entropay charge my debit card in order to load funds into the VCC to make sure the transaction goes through or cover any charges or it would simply be declined?

I just want to make sure.

It would just get declined if the funds are not on the Entropay card

It will just be declined if the balance is too low.
