Plz Advise UK Banks for Non-Citizens
 

hello,
i am TR citizen and will visit UK soon.
i wish to open some bank accounts for stealth.
is there any advise about which banks allow to open account for non-citizens just with touristic visa?

i will have limited time with touristic visa,

I doubt any of the major banks will let you open an account in the UK. What justifiable reason do you have to open an account for a limited visit?

For starters, you'll need a proof of UK address, in your name.

You need proof of residence and as a foreign national most likely proof of your right to stay here / and income.

Banks have verification processes and need to know their customers, they dont just let random people without the necessary information open an account.

So the answer is no, as was clear already from the previous reply.

I cant imagine any bank in the UK letting you sign up with a non-uk / foreign address, no.

HSBC can do it if there is HSBC branch in your country but...requirements might be too high for you

HSBC only allow you to open a US bank from a foreign country. Not a UK one.

I just cannot see this being feasible, at all.

Hmm I opened up a UK account from Canada but could be a little different policies in place for Canada.

The deposit requirement was intense initially indeed but not locked in

its just for UK or EU citizens or who have address at there as i check before. same with monese
