Online bank account?
 

Hello. Do you know an online bank that allows you to open an account using only ssn, dob and at most a scan or a front and back photo of your ID? I would like documents to not be photographed using the bank application but only attachments. I would be fine even if they asked for a selfie, the important thing is that the use of the application is not required. I would need the bill to verify a US paypal account and for any withdrawals, at most 3k / 5k per year.

Your request sounds a bit odd to be honest because most USA online banks will be fine with that exact submission you are asking for and the question feels "off". The SSN and scans seem to be what is needed for online bank account opening along with an address for mail/checks to come. Do you have that as well?

I apologize if the question seems stupid but I don't have much experience in opening bank accounts in America, I noticed that many European banks as well as many exchanges ask for documents to be sent only through their application, I made this request because it seemed to me the fastest way to find the bank that's right for me. However I can provide proof of my address for example by sending a scan of a electricity bill. I would prefer that the verification of my address did not consist in receiving something at my address

This is fraudulent use of SSN even if a "dear friend of yours" has made the identity available to you...

but I'm serious, it's not a fraud, the documents really belong to a dear friend of mine, we are in society but since I'm the only one who has the time to follow the business in the start-up phase, then I'll be the one to keep most of the earnings and having to do most of the work. Look for a toll free number for Santander or BBVA. (Both Spanish Banks with US branches)

Make sure you get a Spanish speaking operator. Ask if you can get an account while you are on vacation.

Try that first.
