Does PayPal or Ebay see the address that your bank is registered to or is there anyway for them to find out if they investigate?

No. Not something they see or are allowed to see. That's why they'll ask for a bank statement showing your address if they have doubts about you.

So is there any point me having my brother open a bank on the new address shall I just have him open it on his house address but just have the bank send out statements to the address registered on PayPal? So there will be statements in the registered PayPal address is that makes sense

My question is will it cause problems that the bank is registered on another address and the PayPal on another ? I want it 100% legit as if I want everything on one address I have to transfer my brothers ID on to the new address to be able to open a bank on that address which is taking some time.

they will check your utlity bill or bank statement.

Bank can be in any address mate just the debit card won’t match the adress you put on Paypal but you can buy an AVS VCC on many sites if you google it to handle the card being 100% AVS match

They could ask for a utility bill or bank statement so best for it to match if you can otherwise getting all those docs isn’t hard if your creative

Correctly noted :) otherwise PP can't inherently see the bank account holder's address

So you guys are suggesting it's best to have the PayPal address matching the bank address so a better and stronger PayPal?.

Technically speaking yes, that would be better. Because if they ever asked you for a bank statement (which doesn't always happen) you wouldn't need to do any photoshopping since your PP address would already match your bank statement address.

In USA though it's not possible to do what you're saying. Over here the bank will mail a test piece of mail to verify your mailing address. The postal service isn't allowed to forward bank mail and if the name on the letter doesn't match the name of the person USPS knows lives at the address, they won't deliver it.

It's my office address where I am setting up my Ebay and PayPal so it's not like a random address I have access to the address etc

I have spoken to Lloyd's they have told me I can have the bank opened on my house address but have a corispondance address on there where all the statements would go to my office address ?

So you can't use a legit debit card with a different address to pay?

edit: i read somewhere that the avs system only checks the numbers so you can do 107 bobby way 10230 as paypal address when the legit address with the bank is 107 XXX avenue 10230, know if this is right?
