New bank account declined by Paypal HELP
 

So I created a new checking account under my name in the same bank I use (Citizens Bank), but it was declined when I tried to add it to my new stealth Paypal. It said unknown error has occurred and we all know what that means lol.

It had the same exact routing number as my other checking account that was on the limited Paypal, just a different account number. Could that be the reason?

wtf do i do now? Try to connect a bank account through a third party to connect to paypal? Any suggestions?

No that is not the reason. And Im not sure what you think that means.
Could be just a glitch.
Id wait a couple of days and try again. Or call in and use the automated system to add it.

It has to be, I logged into it today and now the paypal is limited lmao. What other reason could there be.

they must have linked your new account to your old account

Share all the steps you took to create the pp account.

I use banks with the same routing number and different account number all the time without issues (some are US-based)

I made a new windows user, then made a new email, info, and identity generated using ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name generator, used textnow and made sure area code of phone number was same as ⊗⊗⊗⊗ address.

Restarted my router and modem to change my ip and then I went ahead and created a new account. Didn't have any issues until I tried linking the new checking account. I DID however use a somewhat similar password, but it had one character that was different.

Can I still just link the debit card of that same account to a new stealth paypal?

Bingo, mystery solved...
Textnow a big no-no. No account will work using it for creation. You must use real phone numbers using real mobile phone(s) for account creations. Your bank is fine, routing numbers just provide location area of your bank, so never a problem with them being the same as thousands of people share the same numbers.

wow! I heard textnow was fine with paypal, and one of my coworker also suggested me to use this. Thank you for pointing it out. How the people living outside US opening and operating US paypal and ebay for years?
