Is safe to keep money into transferwise?
 

Hi guys, i don't know anything about transferwise. Is it safe to use it like a normal bank account? i want to store some money into the transferwise account and ask them to send me the card so i can use it when i need to do purchases.

Yeah, I don't see why not.

I've had money stored in them for over a year and recently withdraw it. No issues.

they supported in many countries you not suppose to be eu or usa resident

They not support my country , my only way here to get a Pre paid working for PayPal cards is from Israel Post

TransferWise doesn’t protect your money in financial protection schemes like the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC).

Traditional banks are required to put customers' money in a financial protection scheme. This is because they make profit by lending and risking customers' money, and need to insure it up to a certain amount in case something goes wrong.

TransferWise isn't a bank. We don't lend your money or make high-risk investments with it. So, we don't insure it in a financial protection scheme.

yes usa euro gbp very good service but i found Transferwise fees cheaper then any other company

It would be great when we finally move away from big banks and lessen restrictions on who can get bank accounts and who can get money, etc.

I see this problem daily and it seems backwards

Don't use Transferwise. It is a scammer bank.

Easily blocked account and you will never get your balance out from this bank. The service is bad.
