Help, wamu not in my state. any good alternatives?

I am looking to get a wamu act bc i hear they are good and ING is bad. But in NJ they dont offer the wamu act as per their website.

What are some good online bank alternatives?

Just b/c they don't have WAMU (Chase) in your state doesn't mean you can't use them. We don't have WAMU in Ohio but I was using them. You get hit with the $3 ATM fee but oh well. We have Chase so now I'm ok.

I currently use both Chase and Bank of America. Although we have no Bank of America here either. They both are good.

Just use Chase, since they own WaMu now

Before giving them your information, say your area is 10111 (NY,NY). Then you will be able to bypass the "Sorry, were not in your area" screen, and continue registration.

BOA has been fantastic for me and my accounts for many years with NO paypal issues.
