Can PayPal see Bank Account Personal Details
 

Hello. I have a transferwise account linked to Paypal - I was wondering if it is possible for Paypal to see my personal information on that Bank Account - Can they identify who the bank account belongs to? Thank you.

Only if they trying to draw from the account so for example if you are eBay fees and do not have enough in the PayPal to cover it they will try and access the direct debit which will then give away the name

James is right OP - otherwise, they only see what you provide to them...

Why does this question keep coming up? I see it pop up everyday here.

Probably some metadata mastersc .. but nothing much else.

Personally I have not see it become a problem with debits to accounts. PayPal doesn't seem to care about the bank account that much as long as it hasn't been used previously.
