Its your bank acct. Why would you login with any IP other than your real one?

How else do digital nomads working overseas access their bank accounts? Maybe the worst that can happen is they dont let you log in

uk highstreet banks are not comparable to ebay , the main difference is that ebay do things randomly and allow their reps to shut down anyone based on their opinion. you will certainly not find that with major uk banking corporations

Why would you use vpn for that? Your all data/traffic going through vpn server which is not secure at all
