Linking bank account to paypal and ebay
 

Hello,

Over time, eBay has changed its bank account linking policy.

Can someone explain the current bank account linking policy?

Do I need to link my bank account directly to eBay?

Do the bank account owner details have to match the details in eBay and PayPal?

Can I just link a virtual card instead of a bank account?

Ebay has ditched Paypal,now it is Adyen.

agent is correct - kytrgor, can you confirm which ebay platform are you using? if eb.com, then you will need a us bank account to link directly (for example)

I will probably use .pl so the bank account will come from Poland as well as all the data to set up the account. Can you tell me if the situation with Adyen is the same as with Paypal or do I need to do something differently?

One more question because I forgot if I create an eb account do I immediately convert it to a sale or do I hide as a buyer for a month and after 30 days convert it to a sales account?


Quite important, do the bank account and Virtual Card details have to match the data from Ebay?

I prefering bidding and buying for 2-4 weeks before selling but that's my own approach.

Back account name details should match Ebay data last I checked - way back, the mismatch could go through but these days, seems harder.

Virtual Card details don't need to match eb data in general...it should auto-match on the card side...

I did verify bank on mismatching name on ebay week ago
You should be fine with it if you are looking for it

On PayPal I generally add all banks which has different name. They just care about the verification deposit they send to bank.
