Wamu free checking account

Hi all,

Could someone update whether the Wamu checking account still works and how to apply it. Since wamu has become Chase, not sure if anything changed.

If you have an old Wamu account then its still free but if you open a new account with chase then its not free anymore!

So, does different name on paypal can deposit to Chase? I have a Chase account for 2 years. I tried to use a different name on paypal to verify the account. I never see the little two money deposit into my account.
