New kind of limitaion from paypal canada
 

Hi
A new kind of paypal limitations hit my stealth account yesterday both with 17k+ balance they are asking for:
1. Utility Bill
0r any of fallowing:
Statement from Canda Revenue Agency
Tax Return/assesment
Student Record Statment
Canada Revenue Agency Tax Receipt
i can do anything with account except i cant purchase more than 1k,
Never heard of this kind of limitation, i can even withdraw funds.

Can you post the actual limitation message from PayPal?

theere is no message from paypal its just a alert in paypal

You can withdraw funds you said? So your pp isn't limited....yet

Can you provide the utility bill? Not hard to do...

As an afterthought, if you are Canadian and do taxes regularly, these documents are easy to provide as well with some creativity

i spoke to paypal they say its for ontario residents, and required by Ontario

you are right , but accounts are stealth and i do have to provide SIN number evethough if i get creative...

Why don't you just withdraw the funds? and just create a new one?

i cant withdraw 17k at once, and these are my 7 yrs old accounts, i think i will pass this limitation just informing you guyz be carefull..

How are you storing that kind of amount in your PayPal? :nono:
Just wishing you the best to get those all funds out from paypal.

for 7 yrs i have got all the funds out without any problem and i know what i'm doing so please scare someone Else:yar:

Got the same issues with account in BC. Verified everything but address (tax papers).
Let me know if you gonna try to submit "creative" docs and which one.
I'm curious of they made an agreement with CAN government to verify those.

I am dealing with the same thing. If you can still withdraw funds, do it IMMEDIATELY. I waited a few days waiting to see if it can clear, and now I CANNOT. I am still waiting on a response for the documents I sent. I have a stealth Canadian account so I have no access to these documents.

Well you are right to not be a fan because I have the same error on my account and it's not Ontario address.

its for canadian accounts, they have made an agreement with CRA canada and they have to provide these docs, if anyone wants a help about canadian tax docs, you may private message me., i will keep you guys updated in this Thread and if someone finds something new you may update the thread. dont understand this, u say you submitted the docs and waiting for reply then you say i have no access to these docs??? pls clearify.

I just sent them what I could. I got an excellent passport copy made, I have a electric bill as well. For the 3rd document I just use like a bank statement I had made. Today is the 3rd day, so hopefully I will get a response.
