Any Canadian bank works to link stealth paypal?
 

I tried to add a TD bank account to a stealth PayPal but it doesn't work at all
(I provide the transit no, branch no and accounts no, etc or another option is link the bank by using online banking user id and password)

Does the name on the stealth paypal account have to match with the bank account?

PS: the account is not yet linked with a credit card at this moment

since when linking bank account user ID and password work??
Has this account been linked to another account already?
Or do you think your bank is blocking the link?

Are you speaking of TD Canada or TD US bank krizty?

I tried to add a TD bank (CA) to one of my old stealth PayPal as the first linked bank canceled a long time ago. I then called PayPal today and found out my account is blocked by the system 5 days because the first time I do not add the new bank account successfully. Maybe wait for five days and call again to see if the customer service can add it for me on the phone instead doing it online myself.

When linking the bank account user id and PWD, the system shows cannot be verified. when linking with the US bank account, the system shows please call for further assistant.

I have about 5 stealth accountS created in 2013 and been linked to Canadian bank (under my name) but these accounts were all canceled in 2014. I have to use these accounts again this year but found a very hard to link with a new bank. Either with bank id and PWD or by entered bank info did not work at all.

if your paypal accounts were cancelled in 2014,meaning you closed them.
and you are trying to use these accounts again?

I only closed the linked bank account but not the PayPal account. That means, I have to add/link a new bank prior to receive payment.

PS: Paypal name and bank name are not the same

may be some one from Canada can shed some light,do you think Paypal has detected the names are different,since it must still have record of your old bank account which is in your name.

I have used mismatched names multiple times before with SB, maybe try them.

CIBC and RBC have worked fine for me along with TD Canada.

@ultima, what is "SB"?

Lately I've had very less success adding a new bank account to a PP account which previously had a bank account added to it. I think they have tightened up the security or they are using a different service to maybe counter check names.

my paypal account when i setup it 1 year ago i used VBA USA to verify it than when i tried to add Canadian bank account it did not allow me. I called support twice and the agent guided me to add it while on phone it worked .. so the solution is calling them.

Good experience with the call - seems harder these days reaching agents (I haven't needed to call lately but reading around...seems like it)

Hi, you never has been ask for SIN by Canadian Paypal ? I live in Canada and when I reach 100 or 200 ebay sells, they ask mine.

Never been asked for a SIN from PP...was it 100-200 sales in a short period - total over $20k?
