Paypal instant bank deposit for stealth?

Is there a reason paypal gives you the option to verify your bank instantly or verify via the 2 bank deposits?

For stealth i never do the instant verification, seems they prefer that way but i dont trust it.

Anyone know if paypal can see your identity via instant bank verification some how? They seem to push that option.
