Canadian Paypal Limits
 

What are the limits for a personal and business account for Canadian paypal. I know for U.S Paypal it is 20,000/200 sales.

Also, to operate a stealth paypal business account what can paypal possibly request, for the states it is EIN but I am not sure for Canada.

Would appreciate it if anyone can explain this to me, thanks!

There are no limits for Canadian PayPals. As far as I know, only US and EU account shave any type of limits.

You don't need anything special to open and operate a business account; you won't be asked for any extra "real world" identifying information.

While there are no limits as Thromparsus indicated, PP does still monitor the sales velocity and there is an "equivalent request" for ID and info at 20k/200 sales, whether the limit is reached or PROJECTED limit is seen by system.

Since when? I've never seen anyone report that for CA accounts.

Not a lot of ppl post about Canadian accounts but I have personally had a velocity check in 2011/2012.

I have also had a high end sales account that went way over 20k (circa 2013) get hit with ID request.

It is possible that things have changed though so that's a caveat.

I thought cad business now has to send pp its tax returns or similar?
