eBay asked to release info to the CRA (september 2009)
 

As it happened last year for year 2004-2005, its happening again this year for year 2006 through 2008. What bothers me is that ebay is only sending emails to alert the sellers they had to report them to the sellers that are still registered on ebay... so if ever you were suspended (like myself), my guess is that we will never know if ebay reported us or not :shocked:.

Finally, it appears that even if you were suspended, you're still a member of ebay and according to the email I received from ebay after asking the question, you would still have received that email, correct me if Im wrong. Here is paypal email:

The statement you mentioned refers to individuals who are actually no longer members of the eBay community- or in other words, have requested that their account be deleted from the system. The difference between them and a suspended account is that a suspended account is still an eBay member with a suspended account status, vs. an account which has been completed deleted from the system. For the latter, we are unable to contact them because we no longer have their email address/information on file.
