Ebay Canada Requires Government ID?
 

Tried making an account on ebay Canada and is says to upload government id front and back, is this madantory now or depends on the information sent? Last time I made over a year ago didn't require me to upload id proof when creating a seller account.

Probably true, next in the near future you will have to have a chip to buy or sell - they are getting it prepared

Yes right when I was creating the seller account it asked for the banking information and to upload government id. I used my phone data, might be madantory now to upload id when creating a seller account.
