Help for Canadian Accounts

Thought I'd make this post to maybe help some people with what I've found works best or at least for me. Whilst it may not be complete stealth i really think right now it's the closest you will get..

The basics:

*Create a fresh user on your PC (for example account-one)

*Use a browser that is better at blocking trackers and ways to identify your system such as Firefox or Brave.

*Get a fresh REAL phone number that is going to be local to the location of your new account, personally i use Public Mobile because if the account goes down then you can change to a fresh phone number for free through their app (great for saving some dollar!)

*Hit google maps or relators websites for rental addresses (rental addresses see a lot of people in and out) which may aid in account creation (works for me...)

*Get a fresh chequing account (PCFinancial & Tangerine) work good for me, allowing multiple accounts under one log in for FREE.

*Get Mobile Data if your phone does not have it already, run your accounts on it! by switching in and out of airplane mode it will give you a slightly different IP every time (i have done it this way for years!) and is way cheaper.

:spy:

Account creation:

*Log in to your new user on your PC
*Hot spot your phone to your PC to for a unique IP address
*Open Firefox or Brave and go to ebay.ca
*Just browse, building some regular cookies
*Create account
USE YOUR REAL NAME BUT SWITCH IT UP IF RUNNING MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS for example John Peter roberts, John P roberts, J Peter roberts. USE YOUR REAL DOB.
*Message a couple of sellers
*Add things to your watch list
*Bid if possible but don't win
-Do all this over a week or so-

Log back in after doing the above, head in to your account/personal info.
*Verify your email and phone number
*When listing your first item and going through the seller on boarding process use your real DOB AND NAME. Ignore SIN.
*list your first item (something used is best) Take a real photo of it, could be anything such as a SSD or something
*Keep the listing as simple as you can
*Let it run through the normal waiting period

The Tricky stuff:
Once you start actually selling you will get hit with ID verification sooner or later and Bank account verification for payouts
Use if possible an ID that does not contain your address so it is not easily linked(this has been my experience)
health card, passport etc.

When you verify your bank, use the small deposit method. DO NOT log in through your bank, it won't matter if your address does not match nor really your name but were making an account in a variation of your name to pass ID checks

IN CANADA SIN IS NOT MANDATORY. EBAY ARE NOT THE FEDS AND CAN NOT DEMAND IT!

I'll be back.....

Re: Help for Canadian Accounts

I like to bid on things but I don't really do this:

*Message a couple of sellers
*Add things to your watch list

Anything you would add? I am wondering about differences between US and Canada sellers. I heard they will run names for home address but does not look likely here if this works.

Re: Help for Canadian Accounts

Sorry for the late update guys, i had a account go down (sold way too much too quickly, my fault for not staying on top of it) Fingers crossed i still received my payouts. Normal BS of requesting everything but your blood type. i have sent everything so we'll see. Don't really care about the account but i don't want to wait 6 months for the monies in there so.... here's hoping. IT WAS NOT LINKED AT LEAST

Re: Help for Canadian Accounts

Just an update on above, i got my account back after a quick phone call and am now receiving payouts (i verified this today)

HOWEVER i strongly suggest to people to not list anything until you at least get your money out just in case it goes down again.

i talk from experience on this but luckily only had $50 in it at the time unlike here where i have close to 2K

Nice.

Re: Help for Canadian Accounts

Doing my best. Got 3 functioning accounts so whilst it is difficult.... the addiction to getting around the system continues because unfortunately ebay has such great traffic that i can sell so quickly. it's a blessing and a curse...

one thing to note: If you sell high competition items like myself DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT LIST IT AVAILABLE TO USA (EXCLUDE IT IN THE SHIPPING OPTION) Every person on there will report your item but some how keep their identical one listed

it may seem like a loss not having it available there but it's not worth striking out your account because of sellers reporting you in order to swallow every sale up.

It's absolutely crazy. i've had the same items relisted for weeks and not an issue after excluding USA. Buyers were fine but other sellers will murder you

Re: Help for Canadian Accounts

Hmm the USA marketplace is rough indeed - if you have high competition items (like what categories?), I can see the tit-for-tat reporting

Re: Help for Canadian Accounts

Bad news. The account i mentioned above went to a MC999 and i had not even used it to relist, only logged in here and there lol....

been on the phone trying and trying to ger it released but no bueno. Received some payouts but not many on it. Approx $1K left in it, very annoying and fraudulent honestly

i talk from experience that last time it took around 6 months to receive the monies, similar to paypal

Fek im TIRED..

rsot 03-06-2025 09:58 AM

Re: Help for Canadian Accounts

MC999 - that's terrible to hear...I don't think there is much that can be done these days - eb is so close-minded these days...worse than ever

Re: Help for Canadian Accounts

It's pretty ridiculous. Happy to let you sell and the moment your money is owed they lock you out, nice trick bait and switch eh

I've removed all listings on other accounts, I want the funds that are in them. Why would I keep selling just to maybe get my money

Sick of it right now

the computer hardware you sell...maybe brand name targetting went on

Re: Help for Canadian Accounts

Used hardware sells well on Ebay, why are you having problem selling on Ebay USA?
Your shipping would be higher than US sellers, and US customs duty?
What makes you think competitors are reporting you, what basis?

Lcpink 03-07-2025 07:36 AM

Re: Help for Canadian Accounts

Tells you exactly in the removal message. Item removed because of a user report, action taken using AI.

It's only happened over a dozen times and yet when i exclude USA and make sure i don't show up on dot com, i don't have any issues related to user reports. Just the normal BS if something gets removed. I have gone through 5 accounts before i narrowed it all down to that. That's how i know

i think so yeah, probably because my accounts are so new that ebay are doing it as a precaution

anyway it looks like it could be anything from 60-120 days for release because i do have a bank linked that was previously receiving the payouts so ill just have to push forward with my other 2 accounts and keep making them as i go
