Default Did a forum search - was not so clear on what I should do...

Ok bringing out this thread in Canada section. Answers probably lie in forums but I have searched and it does not seemed geared for Canada-based users.

Basically, eBay account is in good standing - powerseller status even.

Paypal went limited for sometime - did everything, couldn't get it unblocked. Now it can't receive payments.

What should I do for payments right now? Would appreciate Canadian insight.
Or is the account over?

Thanks =)

I may be way out to lunch here but why don't you change the name of the ebay account, unlink it with the limited paypal account, let the newly changed ebay id sit for a month or so, then link it to a new PP account. That don't help you receive payments on that ID now, but it could save it in the future? Like I said I could be way out to lunch. Would be a shame to loose such a good ebay account.

Op, I have given up on things if this would have happened, since I know there's nothing that can be done.

I mean you already given them what they wanted right? A lot of times, they want those info not to reinstate you, rather profile you and get you out for good. Sorry this happened.

If you have buyers who needs to pay or hasn't paid and the money is a big deal for you, I suggest you grab each of their phone numbers and call them asking for an alternative payment method aside from PP. Then ask them to leave feedback once they get their goods to show these eBay / PP scums that you are an honest seller.

Have you considered trying COD with the open sales? It may be an option to look into. I've never tried it, but apparently it can be done reasonably fast.

Buyer would be safe as they dont pay until they get it, so they may go for it.

That is if you are asking for a way to complete some open sales. You may be asking for a more permanent solution.

COD can turn into a mess and way more trouble depending on what you sell.

Default merchant account

I have a merchant account too and love to use it. but it seems that buyers have a problem (wanting) to use it. I used the text in the stealth guide (which is a super book really) and I only have the older version!!!!
I hope it will get better now with the new text. but it is for sure better then paypal and I have had no problems with it at all.
