UPS Powerseller Savings

Has anyone signed up for UPS powerseller discounts in Canada?

I've noticed they are offering discounts of up to 50% off. It seems pretty attractive as I pay $16 to ship a 1lb item via Canadapost from Canada to USA which takes upwards of up to 8 days.

On the other hand, if I manage to get UPS powerseller discounts, I could ship a 1lb package to USA for $12.50 which would take up to 3-5 days.

Has anyone signed up for UPS power seller discounts before?

You have a link to this Burning? This would save a huge amount on my 1 kg stuff to U.S. for sure.

Only thing with UPS is if you have to go and do manual drop offs that would suck. For convenience purposes, Canada Post is still great...sadly.

Hi i use the powerselling savings with ups i get 50% off you just need to make sure you keep your volumes up, they even gave me a brand new printer for the labels for free

And do you get to drop the packages off somewhere? Or they come pick up?

You have to pay extra for them I believe to pick it up. I think they do it for free if you meet the volume requirements. I suggest talking to UPS. You have to ship alot of items to meet the volume requirements though. I suppose you will have to sell 20 items + in a week. Anyone wanna share an account, lol.

I tend to send out about 3-4 on average a day but that has its dips some weeks. I'd be down for sharing if the savings are there ha.

I tend to ship the same amount as you.........

Last package I shipped 1 kg, cost me $20. Fees are adding up. $40 a day x 30 = $1200

Rsot, have you signed up for venture one? If so, you can get free supplies such as fragile stickers, and pouches, which I put the shipping label in.

I do have a Venture One account - free supplies? Like what? How?

Ha all I get is what the local post office gives me - free fragile stickers, tons of those custom forms, that's about it.

You can order supplies online from Canadapost, but it's nothing special. They only give pouches, customs form, and fragile stickers.

Those pouches they give are pretty useful, I put my shipping label in them, and stick it on the package. Saves me a bit on tape. Otherwise, most of the stuff they give it useless, HA.

I know this topic is for UPS but I have a question regarding USPS. Is it safe to sign up for this savings program with a stealth account? thank you

but you can only order 300 pouch a month if you don't have a business account with Canadapost.

Does UPS charge extra for residential address? I know fedEx do and cost me a fortune!
