Ah, the fine legacy all of those counterfeit sellers. They never learn.

Sure there are methods. Can I discuss them openly in a public forum that is seen by all? I won't =(

But way to try - but be prepared with documentation - is to call up eb ay and push for the higher limit.

Best advice I can give is to go slow and build credibility.

And that's all eBay wants, in the end.

I find it funny how things are turning out on eBay. A year ago, we thought they were kicking all the small guys out and turning to a operation focused on large powersellers. Now, they are hitting big sellers with limits, and no one is safe from the wrath of PP/T&S. Can eBay make up its mind?

Likewise - Canada is just as rare to get the limits of 100 even with pre-verified pp account. Have to keep experimenting and devising different plans of attack.

This could be the catalyst that the smaller auction sites such as Ebid have been waiting for. If sellers are no longer able to sell on Ebay they will find new outlets.

While I readily accept that no one comes near to Ebay in size they are all enjoying a degree of organic growth and Ebay restricting new sellers for any length of time ultimately has to be good for the smaller sites.

All they have to do now is get the buyers to follow them

So far I see only UK members say the Canadian selling limit can be raised by adding a bank account. I know that it's the case in the UK, but would like to hear from someone who opened an account on ebay.ca and not ebay.co.uk. Have you guys actually opened an account on ebay.ca and were able to raise the initial limit of 10/m by verifying your Paypal account?
