RBC visa gift cards
 

Like I've said before, I moved to Canada so I was also wondering if RBC visa gift cards work for stealth paypals? When you click register the card, that mean we can put any name or address on it? I would be using these cards for purchases.... :canada:

great! im only asking because like everyone else here, im also trying to make 'stealth accounts' and preferely need one of these cards that we can put any address on them so that when we set it up with pp, it'll go thru smoothly. :) RBC is only block away so makes my life a little more convenient...

No, you can just go to the bank and say you want to buy the gift cards from there, and you register online. I'm hoping by doing that, pp will verify the cards i register them under.

thats ok. I don't think we need an account with the bank just to get gift cards, i'll ask my friend or something, but man if these work, i'll be super happy, i will test one out and let ppl know that these work...

Yes you buy them at the bank. You do NOT need a bank account.

Fee will vary based on loading.

Is it a gift card, or a re-loadable card?

Gift card - reloadable types are at the post office but fees are hellish

I would like to go get one of these cards... so from what I gather:
-I do not need a bank account
-they are not re-loadable
-you do assign the name and address of the person you are "gifting" it to... do I do this online later or at the time of purchase?
-the card does not expire
-do you assign a pin code with it?

Question:
What amount do you recommended to be put on the card?

Minimum load amount is $25 - you get it at the bank

do you know if other banks issue these giftcards as well like TD or CIBC

CIBC has few rumours but nothing happening - RBC card is still solid
