Not sure if right place to post but US from Canada?
 

I am heading to Canada real soon this year. I was wondering if any of you who are in Canada might have some accounts in states? I was thinking of getting about getting a few accounts. I don't want to get a VPS at all those are expensive. And I won't even be selling on it at all.

Was wondering if you use a dongle or maybe some kind of a landline to connect to US numbers to have the IP?

Cause VPS I got over a dozen of them and it's like $$$$. And these accounts it's not to sell one to but to build fb. And I wanted a cheap way of doing it. So was wondering what kind of options there might be. And also what internet maybe phone companies to use to dial out and what not.

I have many accounts based in States. I use dial-up - while slow, they are effective and are selling :)

VPS would work but I have not explore it a lot - dialup is cheap and no phone charges with my long distance unlimited coverage (upgraded to worldwide now hah :FF:)

Got your pm - you dont use a phone company for dialup - you use a phone company ONLY to get landline so that you CAN DO dialup...dialup is provided by web services.

I am so confused. Okay so first get a phone company that will do dialup for USA/Canada correctly?

And the web services I get a USA one? Or a Canadian one?

Clarified via PM with you GWW ....right? You need a landline for phone signal then you need a provider for Net dial-up.

Would the net dial up be from US or Canada? That's the thing.

Can be from the Net - companies like Netzero and Copper (I think) have both US and Canada ACCESS numbers...which access number you dial will determine your country IP

Oh sweet nice nice. I had no idea Netzero is still in business after 15 years! I remember using Netscape Navigator when I first started using the internet was $80 1 time fee and unlimited forever until it went out and used dial up only. That was nice!
