Wow,

I wasn't expecting this! I have been running a EBay stealth account for just over a month. As with everyone else I got the normal limit of 10 items or $1,000 per month. I was totally surprised tonight to find out that my limit has been increased to 50 items or $5,000 a month automatically.

God, must be doing something right!

Congratulations.

But this is not a license to go crazy.

Doesn't mean go run a marathon now.

With the new monthly limits shouldn't I work each month to reach those limits so that my limits will increase again?

Not sure what amounts in Canada trigger the USA equivalent of a 1099.

But you want to make sure that you stay under those limits.

I am sure rsot will chime in shortly to let you know.

Like AuctionDenied stated you really need to look deep into the 1099 issue.

Do you have other accounts to work with also?

It would be awesome to have several accounts up and running anyways.

Nice one to get such increases.

What you do is sell to the very best of your ability. Keep everything going as well as you can.

Ensure you continue to offer great services etc etc.

Keep in mind, ebay can also reduce limits.

Your other matter to consider is the amount of transactions that may make ebay canada ask if you want to upgrade to a business account.

Look at that as well/ You may decide to make multiple accounts.

Forgive me for my ignorance, but what is a 1099 issue?

Yep I just logged into an account that is 8 weeks old earlier and had 10/1000 and I listed and sold 8 items the other 2 will sell in a day so I had 0 limit left , I logged in the same time the op did and just realized 50/5000.

It's funny they just been giving these random raises most with no email just a pleasant surprise when u look at the account and do a double take

Not ignorance as it is a USA term.

It involves taxes and paypal.

IRS in USA changed laws some years back. ( Broadly speaking;))
