Will a canadian verified paypal account lifts your selling limits on ebay?
 

I have heard a few times that if you have a verified Canadian paypal account it will lift your selling limits on your Canadian ebay account from 10/1,000 to 100/5,000.

Does anyone know if this is actually true? I really want to know from some one who knows for sure.

Also for a Canadian PayPal account I will need the following to verify it.

1) Debit/Credit Card
2) Bank Account
3) Verify your phone associated with the account.

Is that all it takes to verify a Canadian paypal account?

The first too are easy I need to get a voip to do the third one does anyone know a very cheap voip service?

Also I occasionally sell american ball cards and american and german paper money on ebay if they see im from canada will it slow down any bidders from wanting to bid on my items since they think im from Canada because im selling american product?

and lastly is there any way to hide the fact that im a Canadian seller on ebay?

Let's start with the first - your first statement is untrue - it is not a 100% lift from 10 to 100 - there is a chance that it will be increased but NOT always.

All you technically need to VERIFY a Canadian pp is a bank account.

Thanks so its really a hit and miss I would think though that the more you verify the more paypal would trust you and raise your limits.

Is it better to verify all the information on the paypal account first then link the paypal account to the ebay account?

Or

Link the paypal account to the ebay account then verify the paypal account?

What order is better to do to have a better chance to increase selling limits.

Definitely BETTER to verify the pp before going onto eB - dont link it physically - use credit card to pay off eB fees.

Just to make sure.. with a new EB account, Can I sell one item with starting price of let say 50$, but bidding then goes over 5000$?
