What in the world is going on with Canada post! I have never had problems shipping within in canada but i shipped an item out last wednesday express. It was picked up and signed for on Monday. But it hasnt updated since Friday! I need this delivery confirmation to remove this limitation on my paypal account and its really pissing me off that the system is taking THIS long to update. Time is money! Anyone else experiencing delays in the system?

Just in case any one else has this problem, the item was picked up and they still havent updated and its been about a week. Luckily the buyer left postive feedback and paypal restored my account. Thank God, Canada post almost screwed me over.

Yet, another follow up. I guess the idiot at canada post released the item without scanning it because Canada post just called to apologize and they are refunding me the full amount because it wasnt scanned. Luckily the buyer left feedback because my account would have still been limited because of them.

can canadapost tracking number lift pending funds? I read that only tracking from UPS USPS ... etc. can do that.
I added my Canadapost tracking number to paypal but still need to wait about 20 days or after buyer leave me feedback.
BTW, my paypal account is a new one created less than 30days ago.

If you add tracking it can take a few days for them to release the funds, but that does not mean that it can't take longer or shorter. But I see that having the buyer leave feedback is the fastest way to get funds released since it's is proof better than tracking (since buyer can still file dispute after receiving item if not satisfied).

Canadapost is a joke. It cost more to send within the province than it's to send to the states. Services are unreliable and their so called expedited tracking is a waste of time. Not to mention that they keep jacking up the price every January.
