Paypal canada problems with deposits
 

Hi,

I am in Canada.... I already tried to set my PP account twice... been waiting for the 2 amount deposits for verification but no avail. Why? What are the possible issues why PP does not deposit yet.
The most current one is I just had this bank account opened (very new) with just $50 balance. Already 3 days has lapsed.
Did somebody from the forum has the same issues?

I know when i open bank accounts online i have to wait for at least 48 hours for the bank account to register properly.. perhaps yours takes longer or there is a delay over weekends/holidays?
You can always call the bank and ask them to read to you the paypal reference?

Hi again,
Just logged in back to my PP account, it says 2 small deposits were already deposited on May 25, 2014... but no deposits in my bank account when I signed in.
Should i call the bank or PP about this?

The Bank...you need to ask them about it...all paypal's going to do is tell you 2 deposits were made....you need to speak to the bank.

It also depends on which bank you registered with. Some receieve direct deposits from PP within 1 Business day, and others ay take up to 3 Business days

I just realzed that part of your topic :

In my experience, PP usually says when the deposits were SENT, not when they were deposited.
If the deposits were sent by the 25th, then you'll see them on your bank accout later today, or tomorrow (depending on your bank)

Are you sure you entered the correct bank account details on paypal??

A good point.

But also worth noting is that some banks can take 2-5 days for the deposits to show up - which bank is it OP?
