| | eBay 7 Day Suspension (What now?) Hello,
Lately a couple of my listing started getting removed, I made a mistake and I kept relisting the same item again now I got suspended for 7 days.
Is my account considered dead at this point or is there hope ?
What to do after a strike like that, how can I get the account to cool down, I am not going to post now for quite some time, but for how long exactly? Anything else that I should be doing?
Thank you! |

Thank you! | What exactly were you trying to list? Please tell me it wasn't Vero? Either way I would chill out and not keep pressing the point to where you further along permanently damage your account.
Whether you are selling Vero or a legitimate product, there's no copyright branded heavily it keeps getting taken down for reason this would also have to do with copying A company's website with their logo or text. |
Re: eBay 7 Day Suspension (What now?) First find out why they are removing the listing, and don't keep listing the same item if they keep removing it...
Once you find out why they're removing, take the steps necessary to comply with them. There's always a work around. |

Thank you |

I was selling software CD's, someone started reporting my listings and all of the sudden they started removing all of them, but anyways what I am selling is high risk and sensitive to eBay, they don't like it either way.
I am going to stop using my account for now, one more listing and I will probably lose it now, even though I feel like after a 7 day suspension the account is 3/4 dead from what I read on the forums, but some people say otherwise.
Thank you |
| GreenBean | 04-26-2015 07:22 PM | Re: eBay 7 Day Suspension (What now?) You can leave the account alone for selling.
We used to say rest it for 90 days.
Never ever relist the item that caused the suspension.
You could maybe buy items & keep the account active.
Not sure if you have managed to find our VeRo area of the forum?
Here's an older thread with a bit of waffle on strikes ;) http://www.aspkin.com/forums/vero/63...suspended.html
Ask more questions if you need...
Good Luck

:ranger: | Hello,
Thank you for all the useful information's, I am not going to use it to sell anything for some time now, like you said using it to buy some items will not hurt the account.
I just have a feeling I am going to get a message in the next few days that says account suspended, hopefully not, we ll see.
Thank you |

I always prefer to keep the account 'living'.
Fingers crossed yours stays up.

EBay will remove any listing you report, even sellers with powerseller status suffered from a competitor reporting their items as ''⊗⊗⊗⊗'' or ''counterfeit'' even though they were 100% legit, and eBay doesn't bother checking they just remove the listing. |

That's not always a case but I have had this happened and it was all over the account | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 07:18 AM. | |
