How can I sell HIGH VALUE items again?
 

I love the forums and all of you guys are geniuses for learning how to bypass all the rules on eBay and PayPal..

Before I came here I was selling $2,000 per day, and the reason I got suspended was because I did something wrong (wasn't PayPal's fault).
Had to give 10 refunds in a row since drop shipper went out of business.

I started a stealth account 2 days ago, but HOW can I start selling high value items again?
My current 4 items are like $10 with like 10 damn views...lmao
It seems as if it's frowned upon to do this, even if you may be 1 month or 2 months old, to sell high priced items, like electronics.

Would I be stupid to take the risk and just list an expensive $500 electronic item now? Has anybody just done it and everything went fine?
Is the fear of high risk items exaggerated?
Also, I'm in Canada, so I won't be asked to provide a SIN number (I assume so)

PS: IS EBAY limiting my advertisement pages from being seen by people? I'm selling popular, low priced items (generic) which see thousands of views per day on other pages, but I'm only getting like 8 views in 2 days.

Not all.

If you want to start listing high value items out the gate, you will lose every time. You need to build up your account with sales, positive feedback, and depending on your category....the removal of category limits.

Yeah you can list it but give it a few hours before the listing goes down and the account gets limited or they start asking for everything under the sun.

People come on this forum all the time, wanting to list their high risk items and today, not gonna happen. You need to build up your accounts.

Providing SIN number is NOT mandatory - it's optional...so don't if ever asked

Even if the quantity is ONE item?

I mean, imagine a guy off the street who just wants to sell his damn iPhone that he got as a gift for his cheating whore girlfriend, but the warranty is void and has to sell it on eBay.

Are they gonna limit his account too?

Ebay doesn't care what the situation is, Ebay cares about trust and risk. You don't open an account today and tomorrow list a high risk item, hope you understand that.

It's hard if you started out with a new account to all of a sudden be at the top of the search results and thats why no one is seeing your item.

You'll hear this advice over and over. Open or buy many stealth accounts and build them up over time. Spread your sales across them and not all your eggs in one basket.

even if I were to buy an account with a number like 100/10,000 or something, it would still be risky to sell high risk/value items?

Even if you buy a high limit account, it has no sales history.

I'd recommend you get a few low limit accounts or make them yourself and sell a few low risk items on there to get history on them. Then you can try on once account, if all goes well, spread them, if not, work the rest up more and try again.

Of course, there is a lot to running accounts and thats when the Stealth guide and this forum come into play.

High risk items are always risky - that's what they are called "High Risk".

High value items may not be risky BUT only if the account has proven sales history - that takes time.
