UK giftcard registration question
 

I purchased a Visa gift card from a supermarket (UK), and I have to register it online (via Gospendit.co.uk).

I assume we use our real info? PP won't be able to see my real name, etc?

If it is AVS then you use your real name but the stealth address

Oh well, kinda wished that was covered in the course.

I think you can change the address anyway. Does the same apply to DOB and tel no?

They cannot see the DOB or number

Its just the address that would need to match if the card is an AVS card

Ok, managed to change the address now. It's the small details like this that are crucial.

Update: thought I changed it, but it hadn't. You can only update it once every 30 days.

Real shame, but this advice needs to be in the main course as there was no mention of giftcard AVS and addresses.

Well anyway, PP refused my store purchased Visa giftcard. Does this mean that Visa giftcards are done for?

In 30 days when you change the address then you can use them
