Suggestions Needed for UK VCC
 

Hi - new here but this info is very useful.

I often buy things on line that are restricted to one per person/card/delivery address so I need to have various profiles set up. To date I have been using Entropay but I had a declined transaction yesterday and I just want to confirm when I pay via entropay, what information does the merchant receive about me, as well as the card? I understand through entropay I can use any billing address and name on the card. Can the merchant tell my card is issued by entropay?

I was also wondering if anyone was in a similar position could recommend any VCC's or prepaid cards that may be useful, or with similar features to entropay? Its particularly useful for me to be able to allocate funds between cards so that each card has a set amount on them. I no longer live in the UK so I would need something I could top up online/bank transfer.

Card issues know exactly who issues any one card. The first 6 digits will tell them.

Have you asked the merchant or entropay what the issue was? That would be IMO the best place to start

All they can tell me is "suspected fraud" and I know when I top up my card almost every time my bank blocks it and I have to ring them to unblock. I have no idea of what about the transaction they thought may be fraudulent but I wasn't sure if entropay cards normally raise a red flag?
