Vanilla Visa / MC PayPal Labels as Pre-Paid Visa
Ever since PayPal updated the look of their site around Sep or Oct of 2016 every Vanilla Visa or MasterCard I add shows up labeled as Pre-Paid Visa or Master Card and Stays that way in PayPal even after confirming them with the micro depsits. All cards added before the update are still listed as just Visa or MasterCard.
I created a new account last month and figured Id experiment with buying an item off ebay before listing my first item using the money off the Vanilla Visa and shipping to a "gift address".
Everything worked out with no complications and received 1 positive buying feedback with an added bonus of PayPal changing the Label of the Visa Card from Pre-Paid Visa to just Visa.
I have no idea if this make a damn bit of difference or why they would change it after a purchase but I thought I'd share my findings.
If anyone has any info on this topic please share because I would love to know why PayPal now labels the cards as Pre-Paid and if it makes any difference. So far it doesn't seem to. |
